Although the company's headquarters office has an
internal catalog production staff of more than 20
employees, producing multiple projects can sometimes
exceed in-house capacity. Since 1994, Black Box has
often used JP Enterprises for overflow catalog
illustration and page-layout work, with feedback
from Black Box personnel saying working with JP was
"seamless" and that production proceeded as if
performed by in-house staff.In addition to the
work done for the headquarters office, JP has also
developed relationships internationally with Black
Box offices in Switzerland, Germany, France, and
Belgium to create localized marketing tools,
including catalogs, brochures, and mailers in
multiple languages.
In 2004, JP produced the 700-page Black Box
International catalog that was translated into eight
different languages. JP handled all aspects of
production, including trafficking over 9000 pages to
the printer.
