Case Studies

At JP Enterprises, we strive to create a quality product by suggesting new ideas and new possibilities to our customers. We cultivate an open working relationship and encourage a flow of ideas between the account executive, designer, and client. When a project comes to our team, we look at the big picture as well as the challenges of the task at hand.

Adobe Channel Symposium Project — Creative Theme Graphics

Some clients have a strong vision of what they want in a project. Our designers strive to get to know their clients and create their desired outcome. They recognize how powerful it is to create a piece that, at the end of the process, is exactly what their client had in mind. Adobe Systems Inc. had an idea of what they were looking for when beginning work on their events marketing for the Channel Symposium, but when they turned it over to a tradeshow company, they did not see their desired results. Having a good working relationship with JP Enterprises for more than two years, they called upon our creative designer with a desperate plea to take on this challenge. After explaining what they had in mind for the project, our designer created several options for them to choose from, including new taglines, new graphics, and a new look and feel that fit their ideas.

Our designer went above and beyond to achieve Adobe's desired outcome by the date they needed it. Adobe loved what JP created and translated the chosen theme graphics and tagline into all marketing collateral for the event—posters, flyers, name tags, trade panels, direction signage, and t-shirts, as well as all web-related materials. By knowing Adobe as a client and going above and beyond to produce the kind of creativity they were looking for, JP not only met this rush challenge on time, they did it exactly the way Adobe had envisioned.

THOMAS & BETTS TY-RAP® CABLE TIES — Packaging

JP Enterprises knows that attractive packaging can set one product apart from another in the eyes of a customer. Thomas & Betts, a client of JP's for several years, showed our design team their packaging for their Ty-Rap Cable Ties. They were in the middle of redesigning their packaging and expressed that they were not happy with the proposed designs of the current agency they were working with. JP submitted a proposal for the redesign of the Ty-Rap brand packaging, and T&B accepted. While tackling this challenge, our designer analyzed the current packaging and brainstormed ways to improve it. One challenge was that the current branding wasn't strong—the brand mark was incorrect and the packaging looked generic. The second challenge was that the packaging needed to be translated into three languages, which made space limited.

As a solution, our designer emphasized the brand mark and incorporated the use of icons to play up the strengths of the product. JP took the design even further by using a 3D rendering of the product instead of a line drawing and suggested using metallic ink for the metal piece of the product—the strongest feature that set it apart from its competitors. The outcome was not only a more eye-catching package for the Thomas & Betts' Ty-Rap brand, but a consistent look for the packaging of all products within the product family. This gave the product a stronger visual impact to customers and made it easily identifiable on the shelves. T&B was so pleased with the end result, they enlisted JP to redesign the product's line of installation tools as well.

ACUTRAN — Rebranding

When Acutran, a first-time client, approached us with a flyer redesign project, our designer noticed many ways they could improve their marketing. We recognized that the company branding and logo was in need of updating and approached Acutran with multiple options to improve it. We redesigned their logo with one that was more eye-catching and fitting to their company identity. We then rewrote copy for the flyer and re-touched their provided images.

Acutran was so pleased with the outcome of their new branding and flyer, our team suggested that they apply this new branding to their company website to make the look and feel of their marketing consistent. Acutran was thankful for our help and said they would gladly use JP for future projects and recommend us to others.
